Bob Takano, has coached on 5 World Weightlifting Championships team. A 2007 inductee into the U.S.A. Weightlifting Hall of Fame, he has coached four national champions, 7 national record holders and 28 top 10 nationally ranked lifters. 35 of his lifters have qualified for and lifted in the USA Nationals. Seventeen of the volleyball players he's coached have earned Division 1 Volleyball scholarships. His articles have been published by the NSCA and the International Olympic Committee. He is a former member of the editorial board of the NSCA Journal. He is CSCS*D and is the past chair of the NSCA Weightlifting Special Interest Group.


JONNY TEAGUE 

Jonny is National USAW Coach and a Level 2 CrossFit coach. Jonny is from Harahan and was a starting tight end and deep snapper his junior and senior year at John Curtis Christian High School. Jonny has also been a competitive Olympic weightlifter since 7th grade and has been coaching the lifts since 1997. In 2014 he was ranked 3rd in Masters 40 year age bracket, under 105kg.

Jonny has coached numerous weightlifters of all ages to Nationals (Youth and Juniors), Pan Americans, Worlds (Masters), and the American Open (Seniors).

Prior to CrossFit, Jonny had been a personal trainer (since 1997). He has been the education coordinator for corporate wellness programs. He lectured, created and helped to deliver wellness/injury prevention educational programs to groups, individuals and future educators.
